Abstract

In recent years, various entrepreneurial educational events have been held in our country with the aim of strengthening hope and fostering a positive attitude among students regarding their future careers and the establishment of businesses in their specialized fields. However, most of these training programs have been conducted in the fields of technical and engineering sciences, leaving a gap in educational support and guidance for promoting entrepreneurship among teacher-students in the humanities. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to examine entrepreneurial education and assess its impact on enhancing the level of hope and improving the attitudes of teacher-students toward future careers and business initiation in the humanities. This study employs a quasi-experimental design, focusing on teacher-students from humanities disciplines at Farhangian University. A convenience sample was selected from individuals who were guest students at Allameh Tabataba'i University but were unemployed. One group was designated as the intervention group (n=20), while the other served as the control group (n=10) to compare the effectiveness. Both groups completed the Hope and Positive Attitude Questionnaire before and after the intervention. The results of covariance analysis revealed that participants in the training program demonstrated significantly higher positive attitudes and greater hope regarding their career prospects and the practical application of their ideas through business creation compared to the control group. One of the key recommendations of this study to policymakers in the field of science and technology is to support the organization of educational programs specifically designed for the humanities
