Abstract
Background and Objectives: The concept of the fight between two Islams, in Imam Khomeini's tought that implied the description of two opposing types of Islam, created a kind of awakening about the many readings of Islam. The demarcation between pure Islam and American Islam could also be extended to the field of Islamic education. However, in Islamic education, this struggle which includes the struggle against petrification and Weststruckness, has been ignored and has caused distortions in Islamic education. Reviewing the formulation of the fight between two Islams in Imam's thought can be helpful in explaining the methods of pure Islamic education. The purpose of this research is to extract implications for Islamic education from the idea of fight between two Islams in Imam's thought. Methods: Using the method of conceptual analysis of volume 21 of Imam's book, the concept of pure Islam and fight between two Islams has been explained then, in a inferential method, the educational implications of this concept for Islamic education have been explained. Findings: The findings of this research have explained the main components of pure Islam and component of the strugle between two Islams, which express the religious foundations of Imam Khomeini (RA), and then based on these components, the educational implications of the idea of the strugle between two Islams have been extracted. Conclusion: Pure Islam and American Islam have opposite and contradictory teachings that you cannot achieve pure Islamic education by simply knowing positively about pure Islam.
