The purpose of this research was to determine the mediating role of trust-based relationships in the relationship of teacher-professional unity and teacher-work environment unity on the personal development of new physical education teachers in Tehran. The research method was a descriptive correlation. The statistical population of the research included all the new physical education teachers of Tehran city, 553 people. Using Sample-Power software, 212 samples were selected for the adequacy models, and 225 people were selected as a simple random cluster as the research sample. Therefore, 225 people participated in a simple random cluster as a research sample. The measurement tool of teachers' personal development questionnaire taken from Dachner (2013); Robbins (2005) trust-based relationships; Vogel and Feldman's (2009) teacher-career unity and Scroggins (2008) teacher-work environment unity questionnaire were used. Covariance based technique based on Lisrel software was used to analyze research hypotheses. The results showed that teacher-profession and teacher-workplace unity have a direct positive effect on the personal development of new sports teachers and also indirectly have a positive effect on the personal development of new sports teachers in Tehran through relationships based on trust.
