The Relationship Between Teachers’ Competences With Course Experiments Of The Students Of Farhangian University, Branch Of Kurdistan: A Mixed Method

Abstract

The present research aims at studying the relationship between teachers’ competences with course experiments of the students of Farhangian University branch of Kurdistan. The research method adopted(quantitative-qualitative)  here was mixed nesting. In the quantitative part, a descriptive-correlative method was used. The statistical population of the research consisted of 720 senior students of Farhangian University, who were selected using the 0.30 cluster sampling method, and in order to measure the research variables, two researcher-made competence scales (technical, behavioral and contextual) and the researcher-made scale of students' Course Experiments was used. The gathered data was analyzed by Pearson correlation method and structural equation model. In the qualitative part of the research, a Phenomenological study method was used. And the participants included 33 student-teachers of Farhangian University . In this part of the research, the purposeful sampling method of the "criterion" type was used. The qualitative data collection method was semi-structured interviews with student-teachers In order to validate the qualitative results, reliability and validity techniques were used. To design the relationship framework between teachers’ competences with course experiments of the students, the content network analysis method was used. The results of this research showed that the competencies of Teachers have a positive and significant relationship with the academic experiences of Farhangian University of Kurdistan, and the competencies of Teachers were predictors of students' academic experiences.
